- 01A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a person before, during, and shortly after childbirth to help them achieve the healthiest, most empowering experience. Unlike midwives or doctors, doulas are non-medical professionals who do not perform clinical tasks, focusing instead on comfort, advocacy, and guidance.
- 02We are working on accepting medicaid clients! Please inquire for more details. Note that medicaid covers BIRTH doulas, it does not cover overnight postpartum doula support Carrot: We have carrot approved doulas! Maven/Premera Microsoft benefit/Other fertility benefits: We will submit any necessary documents you may need to be reimbursed. Please note that while we will do everything in our power to get you reimbursed we cannot guarantee reimbursement from these companies
- 03Birth support is offered by our doula duo Bri M and Bryana S, we split our on call time to ensure you have a rested doula, when you hire one of us, you're hiring both of us! You can certainly share your preference and we will try to accommodate you the best we can but we can not guarantee which one of us will be there! Excluding birth photography clients - as they will be supported by Bryana Postpartum clients will do a consultation with Bryana who will take all of your needs into consideration and get you matched with a postpartum doula, you will have an opportunity to meet the doula 1 time via video chat, and 1 time in person before we start your support. If for any reason you want to change doulas you are more than welcome to. Last minute bookings will have 1 virtual meeting. Changes in doulas will be based on current team availability
